PROJECT KNOWLEDGE- Day 34

Day 34: On the road to Detroit, MI (...and Randi's family!)

It was a long day on the road to Detroit, but after 3 States and 9 hours we made it safely to Randi's parents place just outside of Detroit in West Bloomsfield. We were greeted at the house by Randi's Mom & Dad (Helen & Charlie) jumping up and down, video taping our approach, and holding a sign saying Welcome Transcendence with little cutouts of our headshots on it.

Shortly after our arrival, they had some family friends come by the house to talk with us and have dinner. We had an amazing time and pulled out another version of our "Livingroom A New Dream" (our benefit show in Mexico was entitled "Living A New Dream", so it makes us laugh every time we perform in a living room to call it "Livingroom A New Dream"... you get it). We played some piano, sang some songs for them, and had a great night talking about our travels and discoveries.

One of the greatest moments of the night was Randi's Grandma singing "Give My Regards To Broadway"! She also so poignantly told us how important music was to her in her lifetime. It was a truly special evening and to top it all off... she also took the best thinker pose picture ever!!!! We are so excited for our time in Detroit as we prepare for our Detroit Benefit on April 7!
