In addition to our community night, we were visited by our "green theatre" specialist Michael Crowley who helped us explore ways in which our country’s performing arts organizations can utilize practices and programming to educate patrons about pressing ecological issues. Our exploration culminated with an eco-show, "Teatro Verde", in which we performed songs and skits about the environment and ways in which we can all make a difference. After the performance, we participated in Earth Hour (www.earthhour.org) by continuing our environmental discussion in the theatre by candlelight.

Finally, to close out the week, we joined with the community for a beach clean-up followed by a delightful brunch at Baja Mama's restaurant!
