VIVA ORGANICA!

The Transcendence Theatre Company is exploring a holistic approach to theatre & life in so many mesmerizing ways everyday. It is truly amazing! And right up the street from us is the incredible farm... VIVA ORGANICA. Our friends Jaimie and David gave our company a tour of this amazing organic farm which supplies produce to the local town as well as Whole Foods and Trader Joes. We all learned so much about the process of organic farming & the importance of eating organic food. We snacked on heirloom tomatoes picked right off of the vine and nothing beats having a delicious salad with lettuce plucked straight from the earth that morning. It is amazing to gain awareness and respect for those who work so very hard to deliver high quality organic food to our tables everyday. This was a wonderful exploration to enhance our commitment to health, but also to prepare us artistically for our migrant worker scene in our upcoming production of "Working". All the world is truly a stage. Thanks Jaimie and David... we had the best time every by far and I appreciate you and your work immensely.
