Transcendence Artist Project: Week 3

Our company is truly enjoying a multitude of best ever days as The Transcendence Artist Project hits our third week in Punta Banda, Mexico. Our week started with a strong focus on individual and group trust. We had an incredible time with Matt Vlahakis, our amazing improv specialist, who led us through a series of classes exploring the freedom of improvisation.

Lauren Brim, a certified Body Talk Practioner, educated us on the wonders of Body Talk later in the week through a lecture and personal sessions with each company member. Body Talk is a tool that was developed as a means to outwardly communicate with the body mind to affect good health. By combining several techniques from different modalities – Western anatomy and physiology, Chinese medicine, Applied Kinesiology, Bioenergetics and Yoga – to name just a few, a practitioner can tap into a person's native voice, discover the communication pathways that have been disrupted by the various stresses both physical and emotional that have blocked the natural flow of optimum health in the body mind and establish the body's priority for healing. Lauren's work with us made an enormous impact on our dedication to vibrant health and well-being.

Amidst our lectures, classes, and rehearsals, we still found time to appreciate our environment through some unbelievable hikes in the lush landscape of Punta Banda. We are grateful to The Gertrude Pearlman's Artistic Director Ed Krause and Mercedes Armendariz Vales from Zonas Verdes de Punta Banda (an organization dedicated to promoting environmental education) for leading us on these incredible and beautiful adventures! It's been an amazing week and we would like to thank everyone for their continued support of our vision & mission!
